Rustikt Antikt

Rustikt Antikt was started by a group of Swedes and one somewhat bemused American who believe the United States has an interest in items rarely available on the U. S. market. This is not the furniture of European royalty.

We provide uniquely Swedish farmhouse style décor. While a very few pieces have come from dealers, most items are acquired directly from families who have had these pieces for generations. None of these items are reproductions. Our acquisition team has many years of experience working with 16th, 17th and 18th century buildings and furnishings. Construction techniques, hinges, locks, latches, handles and paints are carefully examined to confirm they are period correct with undisturbed original paint and patina. Many feature truly beautiful hand carving.
